After a historic run during the 2024–2025 season, Coach Kelly Chavez discusses what the 2025–2026 season holds for her coaching staff and players. The Lowell Girls Basketball Team not only lost in the 2025 regional game but also graduated six seniors who are now proud Lowell alumni. However, that does not faze Coach Chavez as she looks ahead to the upcoming season. She has no worries about bouncing back and is very excited for the new season to begin.
The Lowell Girls Basketball Team returns with a young but talented squad. With many new players entering high school and several returning athletes, Coach Chavez feels very confident in her roster. “I feel very confident with this team. We bring different qualities to the court than we did last year,” Coach Chavez stated.
The team’s first game is on November 4 at Wheeler. JV tips off at 5:30 p.m., followed by Varsity at 7:00 p.m.
