The Tri-Creek Education Foundation has opened applications for multiple scholarship opportunities, offering a wide range of options for students of all kinds. They provide grants for those interested in apprenticeships after graduation, as well as scholarships for students planning to attend college. The total amount being awarded is valued at over $175,000.
If you are wondering whether you qualify for any of these scholarships, take a look at what is available. There are opportunities for students in leadership roles, service roles, and for those studying science, nursing, business, teaching, and sports, along with various trade-related options as well.
The Tri-Creek scholarship requirements vary depending on what you apply for. Some require a specific path after high school, and most require a minimum GPA. You should also expect to write an essay for many of the scholarships. Wear your best attire, as some may require an interview if you are selected. You can apply for as many scholarships as you qualify for.
Scholarship applications close on March 30th, giving you plenty of time to find out which ones you can apply for. The winners will be announced on May 21st at Senior Night.
We are fortunate to have a foundation that gives back to the community in this way. The people involved reflect the generosity and spirit of this small town. As you prepare to go to college or trade school, every little bit helps. Take the time to submit your applications; you never know what you might receive.
