Last month, freshman Emmalyn Cassata received Student of the Month! People describe her as hardworking, outgoing, and driven. Whenever she has a goal in mind, she works hard to achieve it.
Her grades are very important to her, and she strives to keep them up. She is a member of the girls swim and dive team as well as the track team. She has earned many accomplishments, including lettering in both sports. Emmalyn was also on the honor roll last semester, which shows her strong work ethic.
Even though balancing school and sports can be difficult, Emmalyn is able to do both successfully. She does this by “staying organized and managing time well.” She also tries to get her work done early and stay focused during the week. Even with everything on her schedule, she still makes time for family and friends.
