The pork chop dinner is an exciting way for members for people in FFA to make new connections and a great way to raise money for our staff and FFA. One of our FFA members, Olivia Walker, says, “FFA’s pork chop dinner is a long-standing tradition that we use to make new and fun connections with outside members of the community. Hosting this dinner not only helps us raise money, but it also brings people together. It is one of the first FFA activities we do during the school year, so it really helps us get to know each other, and it’s one of the first activities where we learn to work together! With the money we fundraise, we help members buy their FFA jackets, which helps us with community service projects, fund our teacher breakfast, bus driver lunch, and buy us any other items we may need to replace throughout the year.”
The people who make this happen and deserve a big shout-out are Tatum Claus, Riley Hayden, Natalie Manier, Kamryn McLean, Conner Woodrick, Hunter Benetich, Nyx Anderson, Brandon Eich, Becca Johnson, Sam Smith, Audrey Sowa, Mikayla Klopp, and Jordan Middlebrook. All of their hard work has really paid off to make this happen for the community, helping out all of the people who need it.
