The Lady Red Devils dominated the Michigan City Wolves 42-30 Thursday night during their first wrestling meet of the year. Wrestlers Emma Alvarez and Breleigh Allen won against their opponent by a quick pin in the first and second period of their match.  Other wrestlers Jacqueline Mallory, Carol Pockrus, Alexia Utley, Alexa Chubinski, and Savannah Wilson won by forfeit.  All of the ladies put up an amazing fight during each of their matches.  

This was more than just an ordinary meet. The girls learned more about good sportsmanship, and learned more things from each other that they might have not known before. The girls faced some challenges during their matches, but overcame them. This victory is going to help the ladies improve to where they want to be this season, and goals that they would like to accomplish. Coaches Michelle English and Andres Moreno are very proud of the ladies and are excited to see what is yet to come this season.
