The Guitar Club is a newly started club founded by sophomore Liam Johnson and Mr. Lodise. I asked Liam several questions about the club to learn more about it. First, I asked him who started the club. His response was, “Both Mr. Lodise and I started this club with the intent of teaching people guitar!” I think this idea that the two of them had together was very smart, and I love that they are trying to teach more people about guitars.
Next, I asked Liam how often the club meets. He said, “We meet once a week on Wednesday for an hour to an hour and a half.” After that, I asked where they meet. He replied, “We meet in Mr. Lodise’s aerospace science room.” So if any student is interested, this is the day, time, and place to be there.
Then I asked Liam if there are any performances or concerts planned. He said, “Once the students are good enough, we plan on it.” I really hope they can plan this and get one going because it sounds very interesting, and I believe many people would love to see it.
Finally, I asked Liam how he thinks the club has been going so far. He replied, “The club has been going much better than expected; it’s going great.” I think this was an amazing idea, and I can’t wait for everyone to hopefully see the final product.
Good luck to Mr. Lodise and Liam Johnson as they continue this club, and I hope to see a concert soon!
