Congratulations to Allison Habath for being nominated as Student of the Month! Allison has stood out for her strong work ethic and her kindness toward others.
When asked how she felt about receiving the recognition, Allison shared her appreciation. “I’m so very grateful to be named Student of the Month, especially by Mr. Culbertson. I never knew I made such an impact on his time as a maternity sub for Ms. McDaniel. It’s nice to know that I’m able to make people feel more positive about something, whether it be a student or a teacher.”
Allison credits her academic success to staying focused and using helpful strategies. “I actively do the work I am given in class and do my best to complete it. I ask teachers for help when I need it, and when I don’t fully understand something, I take time to study the material, get a decent amount of sleep, and then come back to it,” she explained.
Outside of the classroom, Allison enjoys being involved in school activities. “I enjoy knowing that after school, I always have an activity going on, whether it be theatre, band, or winter guard. I love spending time with the people in those activities, especially this year, knowing I’m graduating and won’t get to experience these things with them again,” she said.
When it comes to academics, Allison has a strong passion for the arts. “I really enjoy anything related to the arts. Graphic Design is at the top of my list. I enjoyed the classes I had with Mr. Delgado and Mrs. Leslie. I plan to major in Graphic Design at Adrian College, where I will earn my bachelor’s degree. I also plan to minor in music,” Allison shared.
Allison’s dedication, positivity, and passion make her a deserving recipient of this recognition. The school community is proud of her accomplishments and confident that she has a bright and successful future ahead.
