Student Brett Schmelter, was nominated by English 9 teacher, Mr. Martinez. He was recognized by Mr. Martinez for his leadership, and advocacy. He is never afraid to stand up for what he thinks is right, and stands up for others.
“It’s amazing that I got nominated, I thought I was a good student but it’s good to know that I can be noticed,” student Brett Schmelter says. Knowing you’re a good student is one thing, but being recognized by teachers is something to be proud of.
Brett is a multi-student athlete, participating in football and baseball. “My hobbies are hunting, my spots, and working on my truck”, Brett stays busy outside of school. Participating in his hobbies, and staying busy working on his truck. Brett is an academically strong student, and has a bright future ahead of him.
