Congratulations to senior Dylan Sinde for achieving the title of “Student of the Month.” Dylan was nominated by Mrs. Blank for his consistent respect, kindness, and willingness to help others. He’s a truly outstanding student in Lowell High School.
I asked Dylan to share some things about himself. First, Dylan was happy to share that he was a football player for four years. Dylan stated, “I enjoyed it,” when talking about his time as a student athlete. He recalls having to balance school, sports, and a personal life all at the same time. These time management skills will help him throughout his life after high school.
Dylan also shared that he spends most his time working at Easy Clean Car Wash in Schererville. He said his favorite part about working there is that he gets to talk to different people everyday. He enjoys keeping the place functioning and running smoothly. His time working at Easy Clean Car Wash has taught him a lot about how different people act.
After high school, Dylan plans on enlisting in the army to serve our nation. This passion of serving comes from early child influence. He had many family members who also served in the military. It has been a dream of his for many years to wear the camouflage of our nations army. He will be heading off sometime this summer to basic training.
Dylan’s outstanding attitude and time as a dedicated student athlete has led him to achieve this feat.
