The weekend of April 25th, was one to never forget. The lights were bright, the stage was set, and the people of Lowell High School were ready to dance. It was a night that will not be forgotten.

Heading North on Broadway, The Saints Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral was host to LHS’s Junior/Senior Prom in 2026. Many people wore their best outfits for one of their best memories of their high school years.
Couples and friends alike had various locations for taking pictures before the big event. Places such as The Lake County Fairgrounds, The Hamstra Gardens, and The White Hawk Country Club, were some of many wonderful places pictures were taken.
The annually anticipated Prom King and Queen were decided about 2 hours into the dance. Prom King and Queen Finalist were listed as followed:
Cecilia Barrera
Tia Briese
Dezmarie Mago
Sophia Vercruysse
Max Arredondo
Matt Gangwhisch
Santi Pimentel
Chris Tully
As the candidates were lined up in the front of the stage, the winners were announced in what was shocking fashion. Tia Briese and Santi Pimentel were ultimately named LHS Senior Prom Court King and Queen.

Following the announcement, the dance and fun continued until 10pm. For seniors, this will be a fond memory, and the juniors will have another year to look forward to. For now, LHS students look forward to the homecoming dance in the fall.
