Here at LHS, we are excited to welcome our newest hire, Mrs. Doolin. Mrs. Doolin will be teaching in the science department of our school’s faculty. If you have been in the Tri-Creek community for a while, then chances are you know who Mrs. Doolin is. She taught at the middle school for seven years, teaching 7th and 8th grade science, as well as STEM to 6th grade.
Mrs. Doolin’s experience will be a great addition to LHS. She will be teaching Biology, as well as Anatomy and Physiology. This is not her first time teaching at the high school level; she previously taught at Thomas A. Edison in Lake Station, where she instructed Earth and Space Science to upperclassmen.
Mrs. Doolin’s role comes after the recent departure of Mr. Adam Hudak, who left to pursue a new opportunity teaching and coaching in Whiting. Mrs. Doolin’s expertise is greatly appreciated during a time when finding teachers is becoming increasingly difficult. We are fortunate to have someone like her.
Mrs. Doolin states, “I am pumped to be here! Especially because of all of the familiar faces; I missed you, Rockstars! I am also excited to get further into the science because it’s awesome.” Don’t hesitate to find her hanging out in the science hallway at room A110. As she starts this new journey at the high school, let’s all welcome her with open arms.
