Over the course of the 2025–2026 school year, freshman Jayden Nelson was recognized as one of the Student Spotlights for the month of March. She received several awards, including a Jersey Mike’s certificate and a letter from the teacher who nominated her.
Nelson said, “I feel honored to have been chosen by Mrs. Swinford as one of this month’s Students of the Month. I definitely was not expecting this, but I’m so happy she chose me. I always try to work my hardest and help everyone around me. I just want to say that hard work pays off, and to continue being yourself.”
Jayden is constantly helping others, especially in her algebra class. She demonstrates what it means to be a part of the Lowell Senior High School community by embodying the P.R.I.D.E. acronym.
Jayden is always attentive when it comes to her studies. She is kind, smart, and caring toward everyone around her. In addition to being a strong student, she is also a great person. She consistently turns in her work on time and ensures that her peers understand the material as well as she does.
Jayden Nelson is very deserving of this Student of the Month recognition and is sure to accomplish great things throughout the rest of her high school years.
