Congratulations to Brooke Miller on taking the next big step toward her future. With her mind set on a career in law enforcement, she has officially signed with Alfred State College in New York. The opportunity to continue playing soccer at the collegiate level made the decision even more meaningful for her.
The college’s unique atmosphere and campus truly sealed the deal. Nestled within the scenic mountains, the school offers a sense of peace and seclusion that perfectly suits her personality. As she prepares to begin her studies in criminal justice, she looks forward to balancing the intensity of the soccer field with the quiet beauty of her new home in the hills.
I asked Brooke to share her thoughts about her decision, and this is what she had to say:
“I am going to Alfred State in New York. I decided to go there because the coach reached out to me and explained how she was looking for players who fit my profile. I visited in late February and really fell in love with the school. It is small and located in the mountains. It has beautiful views and a great criminal justice program. I met many of the girls on the soccer team, and they were all very nice. I loved every part of it. I will spend my next three years there, starting as a sophomore, and then I will see what happens from there. I hope to come back home and further my degree here. I am very excited because I have always wanted to go far away for school.”
This truly sounds like the perfect fit for Brooke. Everyone is incredibly proud of her for making this exciting commitment to Alfred State. Best wishes to Brooke as she begins this new chapter. There is no doubt that she will accomplish amazing things with her new education and experiences.
