Congratulations to senior Camden Mikulich as he signs with Wabash College. Camden is a varsity baseball catcher and a Lily Endowment Recipient. As baseball season came to a start, he was very happy to have the opportunity to sign with Wabash, the number one school of his choice. Wabash College, located in Crawfordville, Indiana, is a private, all male school. This college will give Camden not only the opportunity to continue playing baseball, but will also give him the chance to study education.
While signing with Wabash, he was happy to see everyone there and it was “amazing to see everyone there for me. The entire baseball program came to celebrate with me, along with my family and our Wabash representative. It brought me joy. I will never forget seeing everyone there supporting me,” he states. As he signed his paper, he was able to listen to all of the excitement in the room, and feel a great sense of accomplishment, as those around him celebrated for all of his hard work and dedication toward the sport he loves so much.
As baseball season starts, so does the countdown towards the end of his senior year. “While I am super excited for college, it is bittersweet.” He has really made a name for himself in this community, and has made so many people proud, which is something to look back at as he goes forward with his educational career. “I have had a great four years here, and it will be hard to leave. I will cherish these last few months and make as many memories as I can at LHS.”
We, as a school, community, and town are all very proud of all of his accomplishments, and are all super excited to see what his future holds ahead of him as he continues his education. We congratulate him for everything that he has done. Way to make us proud, and we are so happy to call him a Red Devil. Congratulations, Camden!
