The crack of the bat is back in the air as Lowell High School softball officially kicks off its season, bringing with it a fresh wave of anticipation and a drive for success. The team is working hard and staying focused, with their eyes on the prize. With each senior on the team, you can see their determination and motivation to do their best. They make sure not only to push themselves, but also their teammates. They want nothing more than to win this year.
So, I decided to ask each senior on the team, “What are you trying to accomplish, and how are you planning to reach it?”
The first response is from Bella Baron: “This season, I plan to accomplish getting a sectional title, and by doing so, I am going to play at my full potential while having fun and pushing my teammates to be their best.”
Next is Addison Fagan: “This season, I want to make it my best season yet—both statistically and memory-wise. I would also like to win a sectional championship with my team!”
Following that, Chloe Cora says, “This year, I aim to enjoy the season, create meaningful memories with my team, win sectionals, and have my best season yet.”
Then Hayden Blocker responded with, “This year, I want to improve from last year, have a fun but serious season, and win sectionals.”
Next, Katie Williamson said, “This year, I just hope to have fun. It’s senior year, and I hope all of us can have a good time while also bringing home a sectional win!”
Lastly, Preslee Hill responded with, “This year, I hope to accomplish winning a sectional championship and creating new, fun memories and bonds with the team.”
These girls work very hard every day, and they always will. I cannot wait to see how their season goes, and I am excited to watch it unfold!
