The girls tennis team had their first meet of the season on April 9, and it was a great one. They won their matches throughout the night and then went on to Lake Central High School for their next meet. This one, however, had been their best of the season so far.
The girls have a special bond with each other. They are always getting along and laughing on the sidelines. They are kind to their opponents and show incredible class, along with their coach, Mr. Dustin Hudak.
Senior DezMarie Mago says, “I’d say the season is off to a great start. We were thrown our toughest matches this week, so it should be up from here.” Along with the win against the Bombers, the girls had to face some adversity against the Munster Mustangs and the Lake Central Indians. While they have had tough matches so far, Mago is right. They can only go up from here.
